    The Truth About Solar Website Terms

    These Website Terms govern the-truth-about-solar.com ("Website"), operated by Ignite Digital Creative LLC ("Ignite") in connection with West Coast Solar Pros ("WCSP") and providers identified at the point of collection. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms.

    1. Informational and referral service

    The Website provides general solar education and a way to request contact from an identified solar provider. Ignite is a marketing and technology provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ignite is not a solar installer, contractor, utility, lender, financial advisor, government agency, or manufacturer.

    Submitting a form does not create a contract for solar equipment, installation, financing, or any other service. Any provider engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between you and that provider.

    2. Eligibility and authorization

    You must be at least 18 years old. You may submit information about a property only if you are authorized to do so. Information you provide must be accurate and current.

    3. No guarantee

    Solar availability, pricing, savings, incentives, tax treatment, financing, production, utility approval, property suitability, and installation timing vary. Nothing on the Website guarantees:

    • Eligibility for a program, incentive, loan, lease, or power-purchase agreement.
    • A particular amount of savings, production, property-value change, or return.
    • Approval by a utility, government agency, lender, landlord, homeowners association, or permitting authority.
    • Provider availability, licensing, workmanship, equipment, pricing, or completion.

    Illustrations, estimates, calculators, testimonials, and case studies are examples only. Verify material claims with the provider and qualified legal, tax, financial, engineering, and licensing professionals.

    4. Calls, texts, and email

    If you separately consent to marketing calls or texts, the disclosure at the form controls and must identify the specific seller authorized to contact you. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply; frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts and HELP for help.

    Submitting a request authorizes reasonable non-marketing communications needed to answer that request where permitted by law.

    5. Providers and third parties

    We may connect you only with WCSP or another provider disclosed before submission. Providers are responsible for their own licenses, representations, proposals, contracts, work, safety, privacy practices, and legal compliance. You are responsible for evaluating a provider before entering an agreement.

    The Website may link to third-party websites. We do not control or endorse independent third-party content or practices.

    6. Permitted use

    You may use the Website only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not interfere with security, submit false or unauthorized information, impersonate another person, introduce malware, scrape the Website at scale, or use it to violate another person's rights.

    7. Intellectual property

    The Website's content, branding, design, code, and materials are owned by Ignite, WCSP, or their licensors. You receive a limited, revocable right to view the Website for personal use. No other license is granted.

    8. Privacy

    Our handling of personal information is described in the TTAS Privacy Policy. The privacy notice and specific disclosure displayed on a form are part of these Terms.

    9. Disclaimer

    THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITE, WCSP, AND THEIR AFFILIATES DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.

    10. Limitation of liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITE, WCSP, AND THEIR MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM A PROVIDER'S INDEPENDENT ACTS.

    THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF IGNITE ARISING FROM THE PUBLIC WEBSITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

    11. Indemnification

    To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Ignite and WCSP harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, false or unauthorized submissions, or violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

    12. Changes and termination

    We may change or discontinue the Website and may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and effective date. We may restrict access for misuse or security reasons. Material changes will receive additional notice where required.

    13. Governing law

    These Terms are governed by Nevada law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Courts in Clark County, Nevada will have jurisdiction over disputes involving Ignite.

    14. General terms

    If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. Provisions intended to survive will survive. These Terms and the posted Privacy Policy are the complete agreement concerning use of the public Website, but do not replace a separate provider contract.
