Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: July 29, 2026
You may request deletion of personal information associated with Ignite Digital Creative, The Truth About Solar, or an Ignite-operated Meta application.
Request deletion
Use either method:
- Submit the privacy request form at /privacy-choices and select Delete my information.
- Email chris@ignitedigitalcreative.com with the subject Data Deletion Request.
Include:
- Your name.
- The email address or telephone number used with the website or application.
- The business, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or campaign involved, if known.
- Whether the request concerns Ignite Digital Creative, The Truth About Solar, a Meta application, or all of them.
- Enough information for us to locate the record without sending sensitive information.
Do not email passwords, access tokens, government identifiers, or payment-card information.
Meta account disconnection
You may also remove an application through your Facebook account's settings for apps and websites. Removing the application stops future access through that authorization but may not automatically delete information already lawfully retained. Submit a deletion request using the methods above if you also want stored information deleted.
What happens next
- We will acknowledge the request and may ask for reasonable identity or authority verification.
- We will search systems we control and instruct applicable service providers to delete eligible information.
- If Ignite processed the information solely for a client, we may refer the request to that client and assist as required.
- We will confirm completion or explain any lawful exception.
We ordinarily complete verified requests within 45 days or the shorter period required by applicable law. If additional time is legally permitted and reasonably necessary, we will notify you.
Information we may retain
We may retain limited information when necessary to:
- Complete a transaction or provide a requested service.
- Detect security incidents, fraud, or abuse.
- Maintain suppression records so we continue honoring an opt-out.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Meet tax, accounting, recordkeeping, platform, or other legal obligations.
- Preserve de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify you.
Meta application callback option
For Meta applications configured with a deletion callback, the callback should:
- Validate the signed request.
- Create a deletion job tied to a non-guessable confirmation code.
- Return a public status URL and confirmation code.
- Delete eligible application data and revoke or remove stored authorization material.
- Preserve only permitted compliance and security records.
Status questions may be sent to chris@ignitedigitalcreative.com with the confirmation code.
